Howqua River Lodge almost disappears into the landscape. Low and elongated, its stone and timber walls follow the river bend like a contour line. Inside, rough-sawn timber, bagged plaster, and linen curtains soften the palette, catching the breeze and the uneven fall of light across unpolished surfaces.
